Each lecture is held at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall, Barrington Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 1HF. Car park off Springfield Road or short walk from Altrincham Bus/Rail/Metrolink Interchange. Please use the main entrance on Woodlands Road side.

Friday 10th November. Paul Shackcloth "People and Places 2".
Images of the steam railway with at least one person visible.
Friday 12th January. Simon Temple on "South Asian Steam in 1982" -
features India, Pakistan and Nepal.
Friday 9th February. John Hooley. "Euston and Destinations: the
Potteries and the North West". Steam in action on passengers and
freight.
Friday 1st March (note the first Friday of the month). Change
of speaker: John Sloane who will be speaking on "BR Steam:
The Splendid Years 1959 to 1962".
Friday 12th April. David Beilby. "Transport around the World by
GEC and its predecessors". A joint meeting with the Irish Railway
Record Society Manchester branch.
All of the lectures start at 7.30pm and parking at the church is
free.
Admission costs £4.00.
