Winter Lecture Series, 2025-26 season

Each lecture is held at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall, Barrington Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 1HF. Car park off Springfield Road or short walk from Altrincham Bus/Rail/Metrolink Interchange. Please use the main entrance on Woodlands Road side.

Friday 10th October Alteration: We have a new speaker, Lee Stanford, who is speaking on "Unseen Southern Steam from the late Edward 'Ted' Banting Collection". The talk features steam in the Salisbury and Andover area in the early 1960s.

Friday 14th November Noel Coates "Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Engine
Sheds".

Friday 9th January John Hooley "A Midlands Miscellany".

Friday 13th February Paul Shackcloth "People and Places 8".

All of the lectures start at 7.30pm and parking at the church is free.

Admission costs £4.00.
